Our programs at Kid Magic acknowledge the unique abilities of each child and provide opportunities to maximize their growth through classes with activities in Art, Music, Drama, Science, Math and Early Literacy.
Our School Year Program offers classes where activities in Art, Music, Drama, Science, Math and Early Literacy are geared toward a particular age group. Our After School Tutoring Program offers classes in Early Literacy, and our Summer Program offers weekly classes with activities in one or more curriculum areas. More information about our classes can be found here.
School Year Programs
Offered to children who are at least 2.5 years old by September of the year they begin our program. There is a limit of six per T TH class; a W F class will be offered after the T TH class fills. Early Learners do not need to be potty trained.
Our Early Learners Program is an opportunity for children ages 2.5 to 3 to experience small group participation in an enriching environment. We offer experiences across the curriculum that engage young learners through monthly thematic units. In addition our Early Learners participate in multi-age grouping with older children (ages 3 to 4 and/or ages 4 to 5) as part of their experiences.
Offered to children who are three years old by August 31st of the year they begin our program. The teacher to student ratio is one to ten. Children in this program must be potty trained.
Kid Magic offers young learners an active hands on approach that supports an enriched curriculum.
Because children learn different things in different ways at different times for different reasons, we support a curriculum that recognizes the uniqueness of children. It is the philosophy at Kid Magic that all children are unique and that parents and teachers who support that uniqueness provide a positive influence in the growth of children.
Our curriculum is planned and guided so that class activities provide young learners engaging experiences that offer opportunities to maximize growth in the learning process.
Offered to children who are four by August 31st of the year they begin our program. The teacher to student ratio is one to ten. Children in this program must be potty trained.
Our Pre-K students continue their growth in all curriculum areas with hands on activities; their involvement in the Early Literacy class is more focused as skill building increases. Children are involved in one to one tutoring, as well as small and large group participation.
After School Tutoring
Offered after school to children who are in Kindergarten or first grade. Our after school tutoring program offers skill building and enrichment classes for students in Early Literacy; both Early Start Reading and Learn To Print classes are offered; students may take one or both classes.
Offered weekly to children ages 3 to 6 from the third week of June through the second week of August per our calendar. Each week offers a theme in which learners engage in hands on activities that focus on one or more curriculum areas in Art, Music, Drama, Science, Math and Early Literacy; smiles and giggles are always part of the week. Whether making inside out sandwiches in our Cooking class or digging for dinosaurs in our Paleontologists and Dinosaurs class, kids experience a fun filled week while they are learning!
